Part-time Guest Port Services Agent
Guest Port Services Agents provide excellent service to all cruise passengers (our guests!) during embarkation and debarkation of a FUN-filled cruise ship.
Examples of work. Employees may do any of the following.
•Accurately and efficiently register guests by inputting cruise, travel, and payment information into a customized computer system. •Use a high level of attention to detail while examining cruise and travel documentation. •Answer questions and provide important cruise information. •Welcome guests and help them navigate through the busy Erato Street cruise terminal. •May work both inside and outside the cruise terminal in a variety of weather conditions.
• Preferred candidates are available to work on sailing all days (currently every Sunday, alternating Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, including holidays.)
•Strong customer service skills. •Basic computer experience with the ability to quickly learn our check-in program. •Ability to work expeditiously while creating a hospitable and vibrant atmosphere. •Ability to stand for extended periods of time, may push/pull an occupied adult size wheelchair, with or without accommodation. •Must pass a drug screen, background check and have a TWIC card. •High school diploma or GED.
Work schedule may vary, depending on assigned position. Typically 9:00am-3:30pm and 9:30am-4:30pm (6 hours). Some shifts begin as early as 6:30am. There are 10 sailing days on average per month. Sailing calendar is posted on our website: www.concordshoreservices.com.
Starting Pay rate: $9.25 per hour ($9.00 per hour for wheelchair assist)
