*Guest Port Services Agent
Guest Port Services Agent (Cruise Line)


Guest Port Services Agents provide excellent service to all cruise passengers (our guests!) during embarkation and debarkation of a Carnival Cruise Line ship. Jobs include check-in agents, directional positions, and wheelchair assistance.


Examples of work:
• Accurately and efficiently register guests using a computer or a hand-held device.
• Use a high level of attention to detail while examining cruise and travel documentation.
• Answer questions and provide important cruise information.
• Welcome guests and help them navigate through the busy Erato Street cruise terminal.
• May work both inside and outside the cruise terminal in a variety of weather conditions.


All positions are Part-time, working Sundays and working every other Mondays, Saturdays, and Thursdays at the cruise terminal (not onboard the ship). Work hours are morning into the afternoon, typically no evenings. These are year-round schedules. The specific workdays are posted on our website www.ConcordShoreServices.com/New Orleans Jobs. Preferred candidates are available to work on all sailing days. 

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a TWIC (see below).
Ability to work expeditiously while creating a hospitable and vibrant atmosphere.
Depending on assignment, basic computer experience with the ability to quickly learn our check-in program.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, may push/pull an occupied adult size wheelchair, with or without accommodation.
High school diploma or GED.



Work schedule may vary, depending on assigned position. Some shifts begin as early as 6am and others at 8am and range between 6.5 and 7 hours per workday. Typically, no evenings.



Starting Pay rate: $15 per hour
